Origin: Shandong, China
HS Code: 3912310000
Introduction
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is made from natural cotton fibers or wood pulp, through alkalization, etherification, pruification and drying process to made anionic celluslose ether. It appears as white powder or granules, with good water solubility, and have the functions of thickening, stabilizing, emulsifying and suspending in aqueous solution. In coating industry, CMC can be used as thickener and film former, it can make the products stable to store, disperse color uniformly, have good rheology and easily to be mechanically processed, as well as contributing to enhance the flexibility and lustre of coating.
