China's hardware sales in the domestic market are increasing

In 2010, the international winds were surging, the global financial crisis was still raging, exchange rates were smashing, and raw materials continued to rise. China's hardware surging, the domestic sales battle is strong, capital operations tend to be active, the rapid growth of the local hardware industry, hardware giants gradually clear. Luo Baihui, head of the International Die & Metals and Plastics Industry Suppliers Association, said that with the gradual improvement of the global financial market, the total amount of metal export in 2010 gradually recovered and basically recovered to the level before the world financial crisis in 2008. At the same time, affected by the global economic crisis and the pull of domestic demand, in 2010, many export-oriented hardware companies turned to the domestic market, and the proportion of domestic sales of hardware companies increased significantly compared with 2008 and 2009. According to incomplete statistics, before 2008, many hardware companies exported or domestically sold 8:2 or more. According to relevant statistics in the first half of 2010, the proportion of most hardware companies exporting and domestic sales reached 5:5 or even 7:3.

The 2010 analysis report of the National Light Industrial Tool Hardware Quality Supervision and Testing Station, the Shanghai Tool Hardware Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Station, and the Shanghai Tool Industry Research Institute Testing Center showed that in recent years, China has become the largest in the world due to the rapid development of the manufacturing industry. Tool-manufacturing countries have an annual export value of about 3 billion U.S. dollars. Nearly 10,000 tools hardware manufacturing companies, including only three listed companies, nearly 100 key manufacturers of various types of products. It is worth noting that tool hardware is a labor-intensive industry, and the quality of products is uneven. In some provinces and regions, counterfeit and inferior products still appear in the market. In response, Luo Baihui proposed to strengthen the standardization of the tool hardware industry. It is particularly important and urgent to standardize and guide the domestic tool hardware market and export trade at this stage.

Statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics show that from January to June 2010, there were 8,603 large-scale enterprises in the hardware industry, and the cumulative total industrial output value increased by 26.01% year-on-year, which was much faster than the same period of last year. Among them, the building decoration and plumbing parts industry completed the first half of the total industrial output value of the industry accounted for 17.97%, ranking first.

From the point of view of the total industrial output value of the regions, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Jiangsu provinces and autonomous regions have completed the industrial output value of the above-scale hardware companies in the forefront of the country, accounting for 68.04% of the total industry output value. Guangxi and Inner Mongolia witnessed the fastest year-on-year growth, reaching 109.68% and 106.08% respectively. Only a province in Hainan had a negative growth, which was a year-on-year decrease of 2.28%.

Judging from the monthly output value, due to the influence of seasonal factors, except for the slight drop in February, all other months maintained the overall monthly growth trend. Although the year-on-year growth rate showed signs of falling in May and June, it also showed a significant increase over the same period of last year, with each month increasing by more than two digits.

In the first half of 2010, from the perspective of the monthly output of sub-products, due to a series of policies introduced by the government on the property market and the tightening of investment by local governments, the output growth of locks and stainless steel daily-use products began to increase from the second quarter. The speed gradually slowed down and began to decline in June. On the other hand, benefiting from the “Home Appliances to the Countryside” policy, the output of gas stoves and gas water heaters increased month by month, and the growth rate increased month by month.

In the first half of 2010, the accumulated sales value of industrial sales of enterprises above designated size in the hardware industry across the country increased by 26.23% year-on-year. The cumulative value of completed shipments increased by 24.77% year-on-year. The value of shipments accounted for 23.96% of the sales value, a slight decrease from the same period of last year. From a monthly point of view, the sales value and shipment value of the hardware industry in the first half of 2010 continued to increase, and the growth rate was faster than the same period of the previous year. In addition to February, all other months reached more than 20%.

From the perspective of production and sales ratio indicators, in the first half of the hardware industry, sales and sales rates have been ups and downs, but they have remained at a high level. The accumulated production and sales ratio was 97.25%, slightly higher than the same period of last year. Among them, the lowest in May, the sales rate was 96.7%. In the whole industry, the cumulative production and sales rate of enamel sanitary ware manufacturing industry is the highest, reaching 99.18%, and the cumulative production and sales rate of industrial enamel products supporting manufacturing industry is the lowest 89.67%.

Judging from the profitability indicators, from January to May 2010, the total profit realized by the hardware industry increased by 52.38% year-on-year. Among them, construction and safety metal products are the industries with the highest year-on-year growth in profits in the hardware industry. From January to May, cumulative profits increased by 160.87% year-on-year. The enamel sanitary ware industry, with a year-on-year decrease of 12.18%, was the only industry in which the profits of the industry's 14 sub-industries had fallen year-on-year. From January to May, there were 1,321 loss-making enterprises in the hardware industry across the country, with an industry loss of 15.48%, a decrease of 8.31 percentage points from the same period of 2009. The accumulated losses of the industry were 31.87 percentage points lower than the same period of last year, which all contributed to the improvement of the profits of the hardware industry.
