As a delayed-action accelerator, CBS is the most common sulfenamide accelerator in EDPM based products such as hose and cable. It is a primary amine-based accelerator providing medium-fast cure with good scorch safety and excellent modulus development. It is also used as a secondary accelerator in combination with such as TMTD to adjust curing characteristics.
