Potash prices will continue to rise in 2011

As a whole, the domestic potash fertilizer price in 2010 showed a steady or moderate upward trend. From January to August, the domestic potash fertilizer price was relatively stable at 2400-2500 yuan/ton. Subsequently, the price of potash fertilizer at home and abroad was influenced by BHP Billiton's desire to purchase Canadian potash fertilizer company. Both began to gradually increase slightly. In November, the domestic price of potash fertilizer reached 2,800-2825 yuan/ton, 60% imported red potassium remained at 2,850 yuan/ton, and 60% imported white potassium remained at 3,000 yuan/ton.

In 2011, the domestic production of potash fertilizers continued to be released and the construction of foreign potash fertilizers continued to be carried out hotly. In addition, the domestic inventory and the signing of Sinochem and potash fertilizer supplier contracts ensured a stable supply of domestic potash fertilizer, and the possibility of a significant increase in the price of potassium chloride was relatively small. However, as overall energy prices continue to rise in 2011, potash prices will continue to rise steadily.
