Insulating dip paint:

Insulating impregnating varnish is one of the main insulating materials of electric motors. It is mainly used for impregnation motor stator and rotor windings, solvent-free paint and solvent paint. The impregnating varnish fills the air gap between the motor stator, the rotor winding and the inner conductor of the iron core slot and the iron core. Since the immersion paint has better thermal conductivity than air, it can effectively reduce the temperature rise of the motor and prolong the service life of the oil pump motor.

Dip drying:

The immersion drying is performed by infiltrating the gap between the motor coils of the impregnated varnish and heating and drying. By dipping the insulating varnish, the motor coils are solidified as a whole, reducing and eliminating mutual movement, improving the overall effect of the hydraulic motor and the ability to withstand moisture and chemical contamination. The performance of the motor is particularly critical and important.

VPI dipping process:

VPI dipping is the abbreviation of VacuumPressure Impregnating in vacuum pressure dipping. The process is divided into two stages: vacuuming and pressure painting. At present, many motor manufacturers adopt VPI dipping process. Through VPI treatment, the paint liquid can be fully infiltrated and the air in the winding can be evacuated, which effectively improves the electrical strength, mechanical properties, thermal conductivity and protection performance of the motor.

Factors affecting the effect of impregnating paint:

(1) Surface requirements of the impregnated parts. The surface of the clean and dry parts is good for the infiltration of the paint. If the impregnated parts are greased and dirty, the surface is not conducive to the infiltration of the paint, and it also causes different degrees of contamination of the impregnated paint. In particular, powdery debris in the core may cause fatal electrical failure of the windings.

(2) Characteristics of the impregnating varnish itself. The wettability of the impregnating varnish is closely related to the quality effect after the component is immersed. If the immersion property of the varnish is excellent, it will ensure that the fine gap is completely filled, otherwise it is necessary to overcome the existence between the liquid and the solid insulating surface by pressure. Inherent repulsive force, which affects the insulation treatment effect. VPI equipment has this capability to achieve the sufficiency of the winding immersion paint.
