Xinjiang Oilfield has obtained high-yield industrial oil flow in Shaying 1 well in Junggar Basin, and it is expected to find a large-scale growth area of ​​reserves.

On December 16, a good news came from Zhoujia Township, Jianyang City, Sichuan Province. The Yongshen 1 well was naturally tested at the volcanic rock formation with a daily gas production capacity of 225,000 cubic meters. This well drilled high-yield industrial gas flow and opened up a new field of natural gas storage and production in the Sichuan Basin.

Volcanic rocks are rocks that are condensed after the volcano ejects from the surface. After years of research, oil and gas researchers in the southwest oil and gas fields have discovered that there are thick volcanic rocks in the southwestern Sichuan Basin and oil and gas geological conditions for the formation of atmospheric reservoirs. Subsequently, after expert demonstration, field survey and well location optimization, the first risk exploration well with the volcanic rock as the exploration target, Yongying 1 well, was deployed in the east slope of the Longquanshan structure.

The geological experts of the southwest oil and gas field have predicted that the gas area of ​​the Yongyan 1 well area is more than 350 square kilometers, and the resources are huge. It is expected to become a new reserve and yield block in the Sichuan Basin.

On December 15th, a major breakthrough was made in the risk exploration of the Shawan Sag in the Junggar Basin. The risk exploration well, the Shayan 1 well, made a major discovery in the Ursu Formation of the Permian, and it was able to obtain high-yield industrial oil flow, and the 3 mm nozzle after fracturing. This breakthrough further expands the new exploration area of ​​the Upper Ursu Formation in the Permian of the basin, and is expected to become another growth area for reserves and production after the Mahu sag.
