Recently, the second batch of key construction projects in Fuyang City for 2013 has officially been announced. A total of 20 major projects have been identified this year, with an annual investment target set at 1.35 billion yuan. These projects are expected to drive economic growth and support long-term development in various sectors.
The selected projects include those that were delayed in their start-up but are now progressing rapidly, as well as new investment projects that have recently been signed. The focus areas cover equipment manufacturing, super-hard materials, logistics, cultural industries, infrastructure, and new urbanization. Specifically, the portfolio includes 12 industrial projects, 2 service industry projects, 2 urban construction and environmental protection projects, and 4 new rural community projects.
To date, these 20 projects have already seen an investment of 600 million yuan. Among them, 12 projects have officially started construction, while the remaining 8 are accelerating their preparatory work. This indicates strong momentum and active progress in the implementation phase.
In addition, from January to September, under the coordinated efforts of multiple departments across Fuyang City, a total of 123 projects achieved a cumulative investment of 11.92 billion yuan, which accounts for 65.1% of the annual target. Several key projects, such as the Zhengzhou Engineering Machinery Industrial Park, Zhengzhou Yucheng Superhard Tools, and the Fuyang 85 Modern Commercial Comprehensive Development Demonstration Zone, have resumed operations, achieving a recovery rate of 73.3%.
Among these, 33 projects, including the Henan Expo Mining Machinery project, the Zhengzhou Boiler Parts Production Line, and the Nanshui North Tune and Baibozui Yellow Culture Comprehensive Development Phase I Project, have been completed, reaching a completion rate of 38.8%. Meanwhile, 21 out of the 38 ongoing projects, such as the relocation of White Pigeon Abrasives, Kangda Precision Gears, and Zhengzhou People's Hospital Yijian Hospital, have made significant progress.
Furthermore, the preliminary procedures for 17 projects, including the planning and land use applications for the Zhongke Hengke Weighing Objects Networked System Production Line and the Henan Communication Optical Cable Group Optical Cable Production Line, are currently being advanced. This shows continued commitment to expanding Fuyang’s industrial and infrastructure capabilities.
