According to researcher Che Zongxian, director of the Institute of Soil, Fertilizer and Water-saving Agriculture at the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, kitchen waste is rich in organic matter, microorganisms, and strong acidity, and is an excellent raw material for improving raw soil. The research team used the acidified slurry produced during the recycling process of food wastes as raw material, and developed a new type of acidic raw soil curing agent using scientific agronomic formula and technology. This raw soil curing agent is rich in probiotics, vitamins and trace elements, but also has a large amount of animal-derived organic matter and strong acidity, and has a ripening and improving effect on raw soil. Legume green manure acts as a cheap, environmentally friendly fertilizer with nitrogen fixation, carbon fixation, etc. The combination of raw soil curing agent and green manure is a perfect match for improving raw soil. After years of research, an improved raw soil technology model was developed that matched the "raw soil curing agent + micro spray irrigation + green manure". By adopting this integrated technology, through one-year improvement, raw soil can completely grow food crops, increase soil organic matter content by 21.4%, water-stable aggregates by nearly 20%, beneficial microbial population by 2-3 times, and at the same time, can reduce chemical fertilizer usage. 50%. It has significant effects on increasing soil organic matter content, eliminating soil compaction, increasing the resilience of crops, preventing pests and diseases, and reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

This integrated technology not only solves the problem of restaurant kitchen waste exiting, but also solves the difficulty of raw soil maturation. At the same time, it finds space for the cultivation of green manure crops, realizes the green development of agriculture, and has the control of regreening and desertification in the new land and mining area. In the urban afforestation, rapid, low-cost improvement results are achieved, and the application prospects are extensive.
