Children's furniture must meet safety and environmental standards

In today's market, many children's furniture products claim to be safe and environmentally friendly. However, the reality is that some of these items fail to meet safety or environmental standards. Many parents are unaware of how to properly evaluate these products, which makes it easy for unscrupulous sellers to take advantage. So, how can you choose safe and eco-friendly children's furniture? One common misconception is that higher prices automatically mean better quality and environmental safety. This isn't always the case. Some merchants take advantage of this belief by selling non-environmentally friendly products under the guise of "green" brands. Even in well-known home stores, not all children’s furniture meets the required standards. For example, Mr. Gao spent a lot of money on what he thought was eco-friendly furniture, only to later discover it didn’t meet the necessary criteria. To ensure your child's furniture is both safe and environmentally friendly, it should meet two key standards: safety and environmental protection. In China, the first national mandatory standard for children's furniture, "General Technical Conditions for Children's Furniture," came into effect on August 1, 2012. This regulation sets strict guidelines for structural safety and limits on harmful substances. The furniture must avoid sharp edges, pointed corners, and other potential hazards. For instance, any part of the furniture above 1600 mm from the ground should have rounded corners with a radius of at least 10 mm or an arc length of no less than 15 mm. When purchasing children’s furniture, ask the seller about the product’s safety features and certifications. Another important aspect is environmental protection. The highest environmental certification in China is the "Ten Rings" mark, also known as the China Environmental Label. This certification is issued by the former State Environmental Protection Administration and is the most authoritative green certification available. Only products that pass the "Ten Rings Certification" can be labeled as "green products." Additionally, the China Quality and Environmental Protection Product Certification (CQC) is another trusted environmental certification in the furniture industry. CQC-certified products are known for their low toxicity, reduced harm, and resource efficiency. These products undergo rigorous testing for harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, heavy metals, VOCs, and benzene. For example, formaldehyde emissions should be ≤1.5 mg/L, soluble lead ≤90 mg/kg, and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene should each be ≤300 mg/kg. By understanding these standards and asking the right questions, parents can make more informed decisions when choosing children's furniture. Always look for clear certifications and don’t rely solely on brand names or price. Your child’s health and safety are worth the extra effort.

Diesel Welding Generator

Diesel generation welding machine, also known as engine welding machine, is a machine integrating the engine and the welding machine, the generator directly drives the welding machine to work by rotating the current, generally there are gasoline power, diesel and diesel power, the most commonly used, with a small power auxiliary power supply, can drive lighting and other low-power equipment. Working principle: firstly, the Diesel Engine drives the generator, and the electricity generated is used to provide AC power for the welding machine, and then the internal rectifier bridge is rectified into direct current, and finally the output is used as the welding power supply.
