While this method is easy to install, it requires slightly more complex processing. It is not recommended for use with curved or shaped curtain wall panels due to its rigid structure.
3. Buckle Type
The buckle type installation uses a specific profiled edge that locks into place, making the installation process quick and straightforward. However, this method demands high precision in plate manufacturing, especially when it comes to cutting and shaping. Panels longer than 3000 mm are generally not advised for this system due to potential alignment issues. Depending on the buckle size, the seam width can be either 20 mm or 40 mm, offering flexibility in design and aesthetics.
