Two-wire electric plug : There are two wires, red and black, and red is connected to the power supply +12VDC black to GND. When you disconnect any line, the lock will automatically retract and the door will be open. Two-wire electric lock, the design is relatively simple, there is no single-chip control circuit, the lock body is also more prone to heat and hot, and the impact current is relatively large. It is the lowest level product in the electric plug lock product and one of the most widely used products in municipal applications.
Four-wire electric plug lock : There are two wires, red and black, and red is connected to the power supply +12VDC black to GND. There are also two white lines, which are the magnetic signal lines of the door, reflecting the opening and closing states of the door. It passes the door magnet and returns the signal to the access controller according to the current door's on or off state. For example, an alarm occurs when an illegal entry occurs. Functions that have not been turned off for a long time rely on these signals to transmit information. These functions are not established in the system, and the magnetic signal lines of the gates may not be connected. The four-wire electric plug lock adopts single-chip controller, which is heat-friendly, with delay control and magnetic feedback function with door. It is also widely used in electric plug lock products.
Electric plug lock With delay control, there is a dial switch on the lock body, which can set the delay time of closing the door. Usually it can be set to 0 seconds, 3 seconds, 6 seconds, 9 seconds. Each brand's locks are slightly different in length.
Please note that this delay is not the same as the two concepts of the door open delay set by the access controller and the access control software.
The access controller and the access control software set the "open door delay", or "door delay", which refers to how many seconds after the electric lock is opened, it automatically closes.
The delay of the electric mortise lock is the door closing delay, which means how long after the door is in place, the lock is down and the door is locked. Generally, the access control system requires the door to be closed, the lock is down, and the door is closed. Therefore, the electrical lock delay is set to 0 seconds by default. Some doors, the ground spring is not good, the door swayed a few times before and after the door closed position, the door was set, this time if set to 0 seconds, the lock has not had time to hit the keyhole, the door swayed over, the door is When you sway back, you will have a lock that has been stretched out. In this case, you can set a door closing delay, make the door sway a few times, stabilize it, lock it down, and close the door.
5-wire electric plug :
The principle of the four-wire electric mortise lock is the same, but the opposite signal of the pair of door magnets is used for some special occasions. The formal occasion is rather troublesome, and the engineer should test which pair to use.
The red and black lines are the power source. There are also three lines of COMNONC, NO and NC respectively form two pairs of signals opposite to COM (a set of closed signals, a set of open signals). When the door is opened, the closing signal becomes an open signal and a group of open signals becomes a closed signal.
8-wire electric plug :
The principle is the same as the 5-wire electric plug. In addition to the gate state output, the lock state output is also added.
