Domestic urea market prices stabilized on the 30th

As of November 30, 2012, the domestic urea market has shown signs of stabilization, with minor price increases observed in regions like Shandong and Henan. However, other areas have maintained steady pricing. Recent reports suggest that China's 2013 export tariff policies may soon be announced, potentially offering more flexibility during the off-season for urea exports. This anticipation has led to some regional manufacturers adjusting their prices upward. In Shandong, urea ex-factory prices have risen slightly, while in Henan, certain producers have increased their prices by approximately 10 to 20 yuan per ton. Currently, Shandong-based urea enterprises are quoting prices between 1900 to 1940 yuan per ton, whereas in Henan, prices range from 1900 to 1980 yuan per ton. Hebei and Hubei have seen no significant changes, with Hebei's mainstream factory prices hovering around 1900 to 1920 yuan per ton, and Hubei maintaining its prices at 1950 to 1980 yuan per ton. Further south, Hunan’s urea enterprises are quoting prices between 1980 to 2030 yuan per ton. Meanwhile, the market in Shanxi remains largely stable, with local urea enterprises quoting prices around 1870 to 1890 yuan per ton for automobile transportation and approximately 1900 to 1920 yuan per ton for hot transport stations. Many of these manufacturers are outsourcing their products to distribution channels. Overall, the domestic urea market is currently experiencing a standstill, with both buyers and sellers观望. Analysts predict that the short-term market price will likely continue to fluctuate within a narrow range, reflecting the delicate balance between supply and demand. For now, the market appears to be cautiously optimistic, with traders monitoring developments closely as the potential policy changes could reshape the industry landscape.
