Paxolin / Paper

Paper-based laminates, also known as SRBP or synthetic resin bonded papers, consist of stacked layers of paper saturated with specially formulated synthetic resins. This material is easy to machine and boasts impressive mechanical and electrical properties with impact strength, making it ideal for various engineering components.

SRBP P1 serves as an excellent, cost-effective, low-voltage insulation material, suitable when electrical requirements are moderate. It’s available in either brown or black.

In contrast, SRBP P3 (also known as kite) exhibits superior electrical insulation properties and is suitable for applications involving high voltages.

Fabric-Based Laminates

Fabric-based laminates, also called SRBF or synthetic resin bonded fabric, are highly valued for their high strength, high-temperature resistance, and electrical insulation. They’re manufactured using high-pressure laminating processes with synthetic phenolic resins, resulting in a rigid and wear-resistant product.

SRBF F1

F1, a phenolic cotton laminate, features a fine weave and demonstrates exceptional mechanical and chemical properties. The material is machined accurately to precise tolerance levels.

It exhibits good wear resistance, low water absorption, and excellent dimensional stability, making it suitable for various components, particularly those requiring intricate features with a fine machined finish. It has better electrical strength than the F2 grade.
